A Candidates Forum for TOWN of PALMYRA Town Board candidates is scheduled for March 3, 2025 from 5:30 – 7:30 p.m. The forum will be held at the Palmyra-Eagle School District Community Room, 123 Burr Oak Street, Palmyra, WI. A quorum of Town of Palmyra Board members will be in attendance and will be participating in the forum. There will be no formal Town of Palmyra Board action taken at this forum. Question: My question to the board is where are we at with regards to the EMS/FIRE contract? A lot of citizens are very concerned about their safety. I checked with my home owners insurance and was told my premiums would DOUBLE if the fire station is more than 5 miles from my home
Answer: We are currently covered under a contract with the Village of Palmyra Fire Department. However, there are residents in the Town of Palmyra who are more than 5 miles from the fire station.
