CANCELLATION – Town Board Member Meeting of 9/12/24 cancelled:     AFTER FURTHER REVIEW BY THE TOWN ATTORNEY, THE ATTORNEY HAS RECOMMENDED THAT TOWN BOARD ATTENDANCE AT THE VILLAGE OF PALMYRA’S BOARD OF REVIEW BE CANCELLED.  THE TOWN BOARD WILL NOT BE CONVENING AT TONIGHT’S MEETING.  NO FURTHER INFORMATION REGARDING THIS ISSUE IS AVAILABLE AT THIS TIME.     MEETING OF THE TOWN OF PALMYRA TOWN BOARD  - CANCELLED - CANCELLED - CANCELLED EMERGENCY MEETING (ASSEMBLY) OF TOWN OF PALMYRA TOWN BOARD SEPTEMBER 12, 2024  - 5:00 p.m.  A quorum of the Town Board of the Town of Palmyra will meet at 5:00 p.m. at the Village Hall of the VILLAGE OF PALMYRA, 100 Taft Street, Palmyra, WI  for the purpose of attending the Village of Palmyra Board of Review, as it pertains to the 2024 assessment on Town of Palmyra-owned parcels on which hangar units are located.    The Board will discuss appealing the assessment with the Village of Palmyra Board of Review.       Michele R. ORDINANCE NO. 2024-003

TOWN OF PALMYRA, JEFFERSON COUNTY, WISCONSIN

ADOPTION OF RESIDENTIAL AND COMMERCIAL BUILDING CODES

 

The Town of Palmyra, Jefferson County, Wisconsin, do ordain as follows:

Adoption of State Codes:

  • The following Chapters of the Wisconsin Administrative Code, as well as all subsequent revisions, are adopted by the Municipality and shall be enforced by the Building Inspector:

Ch. SPS 305                     Credentials

Ch. SPS 316                     Electrical Code

Chs. SPS 320-325          Uniform Dwelling Code

Ch. SPS 327                     Campgrounds

Chs. SPS 361-366          Commercial Building Code

Chs. 375-379                   Buildings Constructed Prior to 1914

Chs. SPS 381-387          Uniform Plumbing Code

 

Ordinance introduced by Board member Gajewski, who moved its adoption.  Seconded by Board Member  Martens.
